About me in short

I enjoy tackling problems and exploring new grounds in the field of control engineering. Besides theoretical study, I am passionate about applying control theory to practical problems. My current research focus is on safe online control of systems under adverse conditions, as well as control of distributed parameter systems with applications in autonomous surgery.

I like to travel and read, and I am a (space) history enthusiast. In my pastime I enjoy biking and practicing martial arts.

Besides my curriculum vitae, you will find a list of my open source projects, as well as documentation (more on that on the left side of this page). In the near future, I will start a blog series exploring the expansive world of controls and its (unexpected) applications.
